School is back in full swing, and I have to say I’m excited chemistry is on the schedule again. Only the second day of school here and we’ve already had my favorite kind of science project- one that ends with food, like this biscuit experiment: 😛

These are the days of morning alarms, baking, playing, and endless Legos. 🙂 We had a Lego closet in our previous home, but in this house we just have to put them away every time, which might end up being a neater solution overall!

After I took a nap with the baby, we went on a very hot and humid evening walk. I actually love the feeling of sweating it out!

And the scenery was beautiful, too:

My biggest motivation to exercise for an hour was going on a quiet date afterward. After throwing a late dinner in the oven for the kids, we headed to our local deli/salad bar and I do believe his one-trip bowl might be a record for both weight and variety! 😀

On the way home, we did some shopping at the dollar store. Salad bars + shopping for stain removers: this is what a happy date looks like after 21 years of marriage, and I’m 100% good with it! 😊
