Right now I have a 4-year-old, a 6-year-old, and an 8-year-old, and they are definitely at the age where they can perform simple tasks to learn responsibility and share the load. My kids seem to feel very grown-up when they are entrusted with “chores” they can do mostly by themselves! Having doable tasks teaches little ones how to manage responsibility and helps them to begin to learn diligence, accountability, and independence in their work.
These chore cards contain simple tasks like making the bed, brushing teeth, getting dressed, and getting in bed to go to sleep. Some children may be able to do these “chores” at as young as 2 years-old using these simple reminder picture cards.
I love these cards and wanted to share them with you! You can download the letter-sized printable below:
I hope you enjoy these free printable chore cards. I would love to hear if your kids love them too! 🙂
