I bought the Whole 30 cookbook at the discount bookstore and shopped from it this week. I had all the ingredients for a simple Greek salad but no good dressing. I looked in the pantry and had enough to make it homemade in just a few minutes! If you want to make it, all you will need is honey, salt, lime, and oil!
I bought this Cuisinart 2-in-1 spray and pour oil mister on a 50% off clearance at Office Depot and this was my first time to use it:
I used 3/4 cup of oil, 1 tablespoon of salt, 1/4 cup of honey, and the juice of two limes:
I also found this citrus juicer for I think $6-$7 on clearance at the same store, and I am so glad I bought it because I LOVE THIS THING!
I have never had one before and now I’m contemplating if it can go on our trips with us. It gets the juice out so fast!
I recruited the kids to shake it vigorously, and served it alongside the salad.
It was SO easy to make my own dressing and the bottle really did help the kids use it on the salad. You could toss it in if you didn’t have one of course. I enjoyed the dressing pair with the greek salad setup. Let me know how you use it! 🙂
