This sweet girl turned 17 this year! I can’t believe she’s so grown already. I need it to stop right here, because I can’t bear the thought of her leaving me! 😀
For her party decor we did a woodland creature theme with forest animals and mushrooms we found at Mardel, Hobby Lobby’s sister Christian goods store. It was so cute!
After much thinking, she requested international cuisine of some kind, so we ended up with chicken tortilla soup along with chips and guacamole, and I gave her a macaroon kit, boba tea, Pocky sticks, and stroopwafels as part of her gift. 😀
We had a fantastic day, with pumpkin spice flavored cinnamon rolls for breakfast and affogatos for dessert in lieu of cake. 😀 The Little Debbie brownie was just to hold the candle! 😉
If you’re looking for birthday gift ideas for a teenage girl, here are some ideas that worked for us this year:
- Hair ties, small clips, and claws
- A favorite music album (I had her pick this out herself)
- Music/lyrical T-shirts (she chose Christian ones at Mardel)
- American Eagle jeans and top
- Heatless hair curlers
- A hiking bag (similar)
- Flower arrangement adult Lego kit
- Cricut vinyl and iron-ons for crafting (I bought the Cricut Joy Xtra for a family gift with hers and it wasn’t too expensive)
- A hand-knitted blanket kit (similar)
- Favorite foods (we did an international theme)
